Adrián Costa, one of Spain’s most highly regarded blues artists, joins harmonica player and pianist Víctor Puertas to present, for the first time at Café Central, a genuine 1950s blues project. From the West Coast sound of artists such as T-Bone Walker, they will travel through Chicago, plugging a harmonica into a five-watt amplifier in the style of Little Walter, before ending with the acoustic rural sound of Mississippi blues in the tradition of Sonny Terry, always keeping New Orleans close at heart.
