Heritage & Fusion
Two artists born in Santa Clara, Cuba come together to blend their roots with musical styles from Spain and Latin America, wrapped in the mantle of jazz and, in a natural way, achieving a fusion of feeling, rhythms, and virtuosity filled with messages and improvisation.
Arahi Martínez is a singer and composer who has performed at prestigious jazz festivals such as the San Javier Festival. She blends her family heritage of bolero feeling, traditional son, and rural Cuban music with jazz influences and Latin American roots.
Alongside her, Manuel Machado, trumpeter, composer, and producer with a broad international career, is recognized for his work in Latin jazz, Afro-Cuban music, flamenco, and contemporary fusion, sharing stages and projects with major artists and festivals both within and outside Spain.
