Barba Dixie Band takes us on a journey to the golden age of jazz in New Orleans at the beginning of the 20th century.
Using the original instrumentation of the style, they perform a wide variety of classic tunes from the period. From energetic, syncopated street parade music that brought the carnivals of Bourbon Street to life, to deeply rooted Louisiana blues that echoed along the steamboats of the Mississippi.
