Buba is a Funk-Jazz band formed by four Madrid-based musicians with extensive experience in the field. Pablo Navarro: bass (Mastretta, Racalmuto, Josele Santiago…), Miguel Malla: alto sax (Los Ronaldos, Mastretta, Racalmuto…), Andrés Chapapote: organ and piano (Mighty Vamp, Watch Out, Mr. Kilombo…), and Gabriel Marijuan: drums (Coque Malla, Racalmuto, Josele Santiago…) came together two years ago to play at the dance session at Teatro del Barrio in Madrid, and the spark ignited. Since then, they have performed numerous shows where audiences always have a great time.

Their repertoire brings together groove-driven jazz classics such as The Sidewinder (Lee Morgan) and The Chicken (Jaco Pastorius), boogaloo pieces like Play It Back and No Way, 100% funk tunes such as Shake Everything You Got by Maceo Parker, and tracks by newer bands like Outro by Vulfpeck.
