Buba is a Madrid-based funk-jazz band featuring four musicians with extensive experience in the genre. The group came together two years ago while performing at the dance sessions held at Teatro del Barrio in Madrid, where an instant musical connection sparked the project. Since then, they have played numerous shows, always bringing audiences to their feet.

Their repertoire blends groove-driven jazz classics such as Lee Morgan’s The Sidewinder and Jaco Pastorius’s The Chicken, boogaloo favorites, funk tracks like Maceo Parker’s Shake Everything You Got, and contemporary sounds from bands such as Vulfpeck. A high-energy musical experience designed to get everyone moving.
