Pianist, percussionist, arranger, composer, and music producer. A major pioneer in the fusion of flamenco with jazz and Cuban music in Spain, considered by the international specialized press as one of the best Latin jazz pianists in the world.

Creator, promoter, and host of Spain’s top jam session, where his musical contribution was instrumental in leading the international specialized press to regard Madrid as the capital of Latin jazz.

In 2025, he was awarded by the Cultural Association of Albacete and the Community of Madrid, in recognition of his outstanding musical career, the Distinction of Recognition as Ambassador of Cuban Music, Latin Jazz, and Flamenco Fusion in Spain.

Nominated three times for the Grammy Awards, and also nominated in other projects in which he participated, such as with (Enrique Morente, José Luis Perales, Tomatito, José Mercé, Diego Guerrero, Miguel Poveda with Omara Portuondo, among others).

Awarded the URJC Honorary Mention, granted by Rey Juan Carlos University of Spain, as Best Jazz Musician of the Year.

Nominated by Latin Jazz Corner magazine and the prestigious DownBeat magazine by critics Ted Panken and Doug Ramsey as Best Latin Jazz Pianist of the Year. Nominated for a Latin Grammy as Best Latin Jazz Pianist with Jerry González and El Comando de la Clave.

Grammy Award winner with the album “Entre 20 Aguas,” a tribute to Paco de Lucía, sharing honors with leading international pianists such as Chick Corea, Chucho Valdés, and Michael Camilo.
