Percussionist Jesús Mañeru, an inquisitive musician with a passion for exploring different forms of popular music, presents his project based on compositions that have accompanied him over recent years, arranged for a quintet.

His musical career is broad and eclectic, moving across different paths and styles, and creating music for various artistic disciplines such as dance, theatre, painting and performance art. After recording numerous albums with different projects throughout his career, he presents his most personal work, featuring his own compositions, under the title De estraperlo.

Suggestive and beautiful melodies intertwine with rhythms from different peoples and cultures, proposing a dreamlike journey in which improvisation plays a leading role. For this project, he is joined by a group of outstanding musicians, all recognised figures on the national music scene.
