Flamenco Jazz Company, the project led by pianist Pedro Ojesto, returns to our stage, this time joined by flamenco singer Enrique “El Piculabe” and flamenco guitarist “Melón” Jiménez.

Born in Madrid’s Pan Bendito neighbourhood, Enrique “El Piculabe” has developed a career rooted in contemporary flamenco and in the meeting of cante with other musical traditions. “Melón” Jiménez, a guitarist with a flamenco background and an exploratory spirit, has collaborated with artists such as Jorge Pardo, Niña Pastori and Anoushka Shankar.

Together with Pedro Ojesto on piano and Antonio Losada on percussion, the two artists take centre stage in a musical encounter where flamenco singing and guitar meet the sonic universe of jazz.
