After winning the Bordón Minero award at the Festival de Cante de Las Minas, Joni Jiménez returns with a musical quintet format and with Juan Parrilla as musical director.

This show CONVITE was born from a night of celebration. When he won this prestigious award, Joni Jiménez wanted to return to Madrid, his home, re-energized and deeply grateful to all the friends and flamenco lovers who have shown their affection and admiration for the guitarist. Following its critical and public success, he decided to form a group and launch a tour.

Now is the time to give all that affection back, and there is no better way than through music.

For this reason, he has chosen a musical format surrounded by young artists from his own generation such as José El Gato, Manu Fernández, and Antonio Losada, who have come together to bring to the stage their own way of feeling music in general and flamenco in particular.

Taranta, soleá, alegrías, tanguillos, malagueña, abandolaos, bulerías, and pieces such as Caravan by Duke Ellington and Amanece by Luis Salinas are part of the repertoire performed under the distinctive signature of these musicians, who overflow with sensitivity.

Festivals such as Elipa Flamenca, Festival Tío Luis de la Juliana, Encuentros Paco de Lucía, Festival de Música Asisa, Noches de Vicálvaro, and Festival Flamenco de Club have embraced the project with enormous success.
