MENIL SWING has established itself as one of the most distinctive and vibrant projects in Spanish popular music in recent years. Created with the aim of bringing greater visibility to gypsy jazz or jazz manouche, the group offers a renewed approach to swing, capable of moving and captivating a wide range of audiences.

The band’s name refers to the Parisian neighborhood of Ménilmontant, located on the heights of the city, which in the 1930s was home to figures such as Reinhardt, Grappelli, Edith Piaf, and Maurice Chevalier. They filled theaters, streets, and café-concert venues with their art, shaping the most bohemian nights of the French capital.

Made up of four acclaimed musicians from the Spanish jazz scene, whose careers have been linked to major names in international music, Menil revisits the standards of the 1920s through the 1950s with virtuosity and expressive richness, delivering an energetic swing that evokes the golden age of the genre.
