Miguel Rodríguez is an outstanding jazz pianist born in Madrid and based in the Netherlands, where he moved as a student to continue his musical education. After earning a Master’s degree in Jazz Piano from the Conservatory of Amsterdam and spending time in New York, where he studied with Aaron Goldberg, Dave Kikoski, Kenny Werner, and Fred Hersch, his career has continued to flourish. He has performed with major international jazz artists such as Branford Marsalis, Terell Stafford, Willie Jones III, Donald Harrison, and Eddie Henderson. In the Netherlands, he is a member of some of the most active groups on the scene, including the quartets of Benjamin Herman and Ben van den Dungen.

He has appeared on more than twenty albums as a sideman and has released three as a leader. In the field of education, since 2021 he has been a member of the Jazz Piano faculty at Codarts, the Rotterdam University of the Arts.
