We are delighted to welcome Silvia Marsó back to our venue. Her return is always a joy and a privilege for all of us who appreciate her talent.
A thrilling concert that takes audiences on an emotional journey through the history of Black music, from the birth of the blues on the banks of the Mississippi to the present day.
The repertoire includes timeless classics such as Nobody Knows You, Route 66, and Summertime, as well as original compositions by Danny del Toro and the first-ever blues adaptation of a poem by Federico García Lorca: El Rey de Harlem, from his book Poeta en Nueva York.
The prestigious Del Toro Blues Band, founded in 2014 by musician, composer, and harmonica player Danny del Toro (named Best Acoustic Artist 2019 by Music Republic Magazine in the United Kingdom, finalists to represent Spain at the European Blues Challenge, and winner of Best National Blues Band at the XI Premios Rock y Vinos Granadinos in Salobreña in 2024), with an extensive discography to its name, joins forces with Silvia Marsó, an acclaimed actress in theatre, film, and television who has portrayed more than 100 characters across 22 films, 28 television series, and 21 stage productions, earning 15 awards and nominations. Together they offer a vibrant and emotional journey through roots music, born as an expression of pain and the struggle for freedom, justice, and beauty.
