8PM & 10PM
Café Central Ateneo
Silvio Zalambani - sax
Federico Lechner - piano
The duo formed by Italian soprano sax player Silvio Zalambani and Argentine pianist Federico Lechner began performing together in 2010. Since then, they have completed 15 tours across Italy, Spain and the Netherlands and recorded two albums, Deja Vu and Viaggiatori.
The duo’s distinctive sound brings together tango, Latin American folk music and a European-tinged jazz sensibility, resulting in a fresh, dynamic and highly original musical blend.
